Tuesday, November 8th, 2011VS Mobley’s Wedding Party
Tuesday, April 5th, 2011Saturday was such a gorgeous day and also the first day of the Fayetteville Farmer’s Market!!! Jordan over at VS Mobley’s General Store was planning something big though……meet the Wedding Party!
She Said Yes showed up with a couple beautiful gowns! They are my favorite place to go for bridal gowns because they offer the most beautiful designer gowns around!

My favorite part about their display was having a variety of sashes that drastically changed the style of a simple gown.

Designs by Nicole Phillips from Joplin showed up with her gorgeously adorable aprons. She sells these treasures as gifts for bridal showers as well as hostess parties or even Mother’s Day!
Bluebird Photography was there too! She’s a really down to earth sweetheart and has some work worth checking out. Isn’t her set up precious?!??! I think I love that gold bowl!

Then the beautiful ladies from FLORA showed up with this show stopping arrangement. Those ranunculus were just too perfect! They are new on my lovely vendors list, I mean, really, they specialize in extraordinary plants!

Goddard Design Group impressed us with this design. If you are looking for something unique I would suggest checking them out.

Of course Lola Boutique is just around the corner but they have some serious style that you shouldn’t miss out on for your honeymoon or just everyday attire! I’m loving these colors! I think I might just be in a muted trend.

Luxe Beauty has always been a favorite although I’ll be totally honest for some reason I get a little uncomfortable when I walk into any place that sells makeup, yes even Dilliards. I have no idea why. Maybe I just feel like everyone is staring down my at home makeup job provided by Maybelline and sizing up my work? I hope I’m not the only one out there that feels a little bit intimidated! They have a beautiful little shop off Dickson St. and the gal at the show was anything but intimidating, she was such a sweet and adorable lady.

I couldn’t believe how many beautiful treasures Mae’s Emporium had to show off!!! This is THE place to go for bridal jewelry!

Mr. Tux showed up too!

Carolyn from Num Nums was such a pleasure to meet. She has sweet treats and a personality like you’ve known her for years!

Yes they were delicious!

Of course we were there too!

Special thanks to Jordan at VS Mobley’s for hosting such a great event! I had a great time and met several new vendors that I haven’t heard of before!
Thanks

Claire and Aaron // Northwest Arkansas Wedding Photography
Monday, August 2nd, 2010Claire and Aaron were wed in Jamaica but also chose to have a service here in Arkansas as well for those who couldn’t attend their Jamaican wedding but also decided to do so out of tradition! Apparently there has been a long standing tradition in Aaron’s family about getting married in the bay window at their parents historical home and having your marriage last, I think I’d get hitched in the bay window too if I were them! They had such a beautiful ceremony and reception here in Fayetteville, I was so glad that I was able to attend this one after working so closely with this couple!

Ashton and Adam // Mena Arkansas Wedding Photography
Tuesday, July 27th, 2010Ashton and Adam were married in Mena, which is where I graduated high school! It was nice to drive back down there and visit again! Their wedding was held at the Herod home. They had so many lovely wedding day helpers! I could tell these two families were very welcoming and just amazing! It’s always good to feel accepted and taken care of at a wedding! :) Thanks guys! You two are beautiful and I know the Big Man upstairs has a lot in store for you! Congratulations on your new life together!
Let’s start with all the BEAUTIFUL details!

The flowers were created by a local florist that is just starting out in the area her name is Lauren Frost. She’s super stylish and adorable! If you are planning a wedding and would like her info please contact me.
For some reason I love this photo! Guys just have no idea how much work it can take to get that beautiful gown on do they?
Isn’t she a beauty?
This image along with the next few pretty much sum up a “First Look”. I just LOVE LOVE LOVE when my clients decide to do a First Look! You still get ready as usual without seeing each other beforehand. We set up in a pretty location with good lighting before the ceremony begins. A First Look allows you to relax and send a little time with your future spouse before the ceremony, you can talk, touch, kiss, laugh, hold, hug, etc. all of which are things you usually aren’t doing at the altar. It also allows for more time for creative portraits as well as getting all those family portraits out of the way so you can move right on to the reception without leaving your guests waiting!
She’s so happy and relieved to be able to see her groom before the ceremony!
And then you get yummy pictures like this!!!!! LOVE!
Meet Mr. and Mrs. Herod! :) Ashton that has a nice ring to it!
Don’t they look so happy together!?!?!
I just love these purple bridesmaid dresses!
What a gorgeous dress!
Ashton’s smile as she sees her groom……
Along with Adam’s smile! :)
Love this shot I was able to capture! Some dad love!
What a beautiful day and location for a wedding day!

These two little girls were adorable!
They look a weee bit happy to finally be married….. :)
Now on to the reception……..just a few more detail shots for ya!
I’m telling you this Lauren Frost girl did an amazing job on the florals!
What a beautiful wedding cake too!
Some more cake cutting…………..
The whole crowd called the Hogs while they cut their cake! Too cute!
Awww and a cute Hog kiss to seal the deal!
Perfect toss Ashton!
And yes Adam you did well too!
What a beautiful happy couple!
Congratulations you two!
Enjoy!

Cristy and John // Utah Wedding Photography
Sunday, June 20th, 2010Cristy and John were sealed in the Draper Utah Temple a few weeks ago where I was able to capture their special wedding day memories with them! Cristy and John are so perfect for each other! I’ve known Cristy since I moved here to Northwest Arkansas. We met through church and have been pretty good friends since. We roomed in college together and she was also one of my bridesmaids when TW and I got married! Cristy is such a delightful person to be around and she’s always lifting you up emotionally and spiritually! I remember one time I was venting about how frustrated I was that I was working so hard but still didn’t have any money……..she’s so sweet……..a few days later I went out to my car and she had left me a lovely little note with some money to buy gas! I told you she was a doll! Now as for John I don’t know him very well but through the weekend I was able to gather that he is almost identical to how adorable Cristy is….well of course in a more manly way! His family was everything beyond amazing! I know Cristy got lucky marrying into such a beautiful loving family! They all made me feel like I was part of the family too! :) After such a wonderful weekend I have some amazing shots to show you guys!!! Aren’t you super excited!?!?!?!?
We started with a day of portraits the day before their sealing since we were worried about weather and if we would have enough time! I’m so so so glad that Cristy asked me if we could do this!
For now I’m just going to share those portraits…….another day shortly we’ll share their wedding day portraits and all the details!
Isn’t she just gorgeous!?!?!? When I took this shot John whispered to me….”I am a lucky guy to get to marry her”! —now doesn’t that make your heart melt?
They found this beautiful barn that had the perfect backdrop for some amazing images like this one.
LOVE.
The wind is so graciously blowing her hair here and it is so dreamy!
I think this might be my favorite image of the day! I loved these white trees that were everywhere out there! I also love the look of excitement on John’s face!
John worked at this golf course that served as our gorgeous backdrop for these pretty pictures! I love this one too!
John wasn’t too happy about this picture because Cristy’s high heels were ruining the green…..I’m not a golfer but who cares about a few little bumps?
This picture cracks me up and it was totally their idea! It’s so funny how she’s attempting to pull him away from the game!
Another gorgeous kissing shot, I’m loving that tree!
This is a favorite too! For anyone thinking about seeing their groom before the ceremony I totally recommend it! You can get more creative fun shots like these that you would otherwise miss! We could also do a day after session too!
Enjoy!

Claire // Arkansas Bridal Portraits
Sunday, June 20th, 2010Claire and Aaron are getting married in Jamaica today! I hope the weather there is beautiful! Tanja our associate photographer is capturing their special day over there! What fun! Claire, Tanja, and I went out with Claire’s mom about a month ago to get these beautiful images that I’ve been dying to show you! Congratulations you two!!!
I just love the light in this image!
Isn’t she gorgeous? She got these parasails for Jamaica, I can’t wait to see what Tanja does with them!
Once again I’m in love with that lighting! She looks so beautiful here! I think this is one of her favorites.
Ummmm blue shoes……YES PLEASE! This is too stinkin cute!
I love how playful this image is!
Awwww this reminds me of an old time picture.
Just loving that parasail again!
As if you couldn’t tell by now this image should tell you how laid back and easy going this little lady is. I was freaking out when someone mentioned taking the dress in the creek (since she isn’t married just yet) but Claire just hiked up her dress and walked around. This image is lit so beautifully and shows off Claire’s gorgeousness!!!
Enjoy!

Amber and Alan // Northwest Arkansas Engagement Photography
Monday, May 3rd, 2010Amber and Alan. They will be getting married September 18th this year! I’m super excited since now as of this weekend wedding season has officially kicked off for me! I’m ready for nights upon nights of editing as well as sore feet from shooting all weekend……..not really but I am ready to spend the day with my couples and their most important day as a newly married pair! I just love weddings and being surrounded by such happy loving families. I am grateful for all my loving clients, they keep my business thriving as well as welcome me in to document the most beautiful day of their lives together!
Amber and Alan mentioned to me that they wanted to shoot their engagements on the square in Fayetteville. It wasn’t until a little later that I learned Alan had this really sweet special proposal planned in December for Amber. He planned on taking her to the square to ride in the horse carriages, check out the beautiful light display, and have a nice dinner afterwards only to walk into their apartment and Amber was in her PJ’s!!! Obviously the night Alan had planned still went spectacular but they didn’t ride carriages or stroll around the square, rather they enjoyed their new life together in PJ’s in their apartment. I love it! Sometimes it’s funny how we realize these perfectly planned engagements turn out to be even better when they don’t go exactly as planned!
Amber and Alan met in Accounting class at the U of A. Apparently Alan facebooked her after class asking for help with the homework. Well Amber kept acting like she didn’t know how to do it and little did she know Alan really didn’t need her help at all (he already had his work done and totally understood it!) How cute. Their first date was the movies followed by dinner at Denny’s!
I told Alan I would put this on the blog…….. As I first met with them I asked how many more days until the wedding. Immediately Amber told me she didn’t know days just months. No problem just wondering right? Sometimes my couples know exactly to the day how much longer! Well Alan promptly stated there were 142 days left! He had to double check to make sure he was right, I mentioned that he had studied before their shoot since he knew his photographer would ask a question like that! ;) I’m impressed Alan and I’m granting bragging rights to you! It’s was so sweet to watch Amber and Alan together and how much Alan adores her. She really is a lucky girl and I’m sure he’ll take good care of her through their life together.
Ok enough about them let’s see their pictures!!!!!

Meet Amber. She’s getting married September 18th to……
Alan. Amber’s future husband!
Isn’t she just beautiful. I can’t tell Alan thinks so! :)
I love the way Alan looks at Amber! He’s too adorable. I know he’ll take good care of her!
I love the expression on Alan’s face here, he looks so happy and in love!
Amber told Alan she wanted a princess cut diamond and he designed the rest at a local jewelry shop! That’s a gorgeous ring!
There’s a tradition for all U of A graduates here in Arkansas. They imprint years on the sidewalks and your name is etched into the cement according to the year you graduated along with your degree for everyone to admire forever!
And my favorite shot of the day comes from a quick random idea. I love how those ideas always turn out to be your best shots, which just so you know I’m pretty sure this idea of the lawn shot was Ambers!!! Way to go!
Congratulations to you two! It was great to go about town shooting and getting to know you! I look forward to September!
Enjoy!
