This is my favorite picture I think of the whole day, these little girls are just darlings!

That tiny little ring in her mother’s hand was Chelsey’s baby ring!  Too precious!  I think I’m going to go buy one for my little girl so I can pull it out on her wedding day too!!!!

Beautiful ceremony inside the barn!

I just love this picture!

Oh yes she did!  Kruton’s brought in McDonald’s per Chelsey’s request!  It was a hit!

Everyone loves a sparkler exit!

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Cowan!  We had so much fun documenting your big day for you!!!!  We wish you many many happy years together!

Slowly but Surely…..

Thursday, November 10th, 2011

Originally I just planned on posting a quick image up on Facebook of a quick edit I did on a recent engagement shoot and call it a day for my social media efforts.  Just then I changed my mind and decided to give all my lovely clients an update.

I just finished up editing Kara and Nathan’s wedding images and they are currently loading into their online gallery (that will take about 6 hours to complete).  YAY!!!!

Followed by:

Crystal and Greg

Ivory and Matt

Liz and Jacky

Audra and Jeff

Jordan and Jordan

Sean and Jessica

My goal is to work on one wedding a week and hopefully knock them all out a few weeks before Christmas.

Now if you are wondering where you fit in with your sessions please don’t be alarmed my goal is to have every family session finished up by the end of November to give you plenty of time for ordering gifts for family!

Now I’ll leave you with that lovely image I planned on posting to Facebook today!  :)

Busy Busy Busy!

Wednesday, October 19th, 2011

Just a quick post to tell you we’re super busy!  I’ve been working hard trying to keep up with everyone’s emails and focusing intently on getting sessions edited and uploaded for all my lovely clients!  I really do love you guys!

Let’s just think about where I would be without you………since there’s certain bills I pay vs. what the hubby pays for:

Car less (or driving my old white 1993 Toyota Camry ) , pretty hungry since I do most of our grocery shopping , no one could ever call or text me! , I wouldn’t have internet to post gorgeous pictures and keep you updated! , my baby wouldn’t have his daily meds or be seen by any doctors , I would still be shooting with my Minolta film camera …….. oh my goodness I’m just going to stop that list right there!!!!!

SOOOOOO big big big hugs to all my awesome and patient clients!  I love you!

Here’s a few things we’ve been working on!

Adrienne will be graduating in 2012!"

Jennifer and Ryan are now happily married

Todd and Ashleigh have welcomed this sweet boy into the world!"

Enjoy!

Cooper Chapel Wedding Photographers // Amanda and Cade

Tuesday, September 13th, 2011

It’s been a little while since I’ve posted a wedding here on the blog!   I’m back in full swing so expect us to start pumping out the pictures for all you lovelies out there!

Amanda and Cade were married June 25th at Cooper Chapel.  It really was a beautiful day!  Everything seemed to sail along quite smoothly!  That’s always a plus on your wedding day!  We have been working with Amanda and Cade for probably a little over a year!  The first time we met was for dinner at a nice mexican restaurant (I would include the name but I have no idea how to spell it so I’m saving myself from that embarrassment!) :)  They met with my husband and I, which I’ll be honest is quite rare!  But either way I was pregnant and we had a pretty good time squaring away all  those pre wedding questions people have for us photographers.  Soon I got to shoot their engagements which if you’ll remember were super cute.  Amanda told me in our initial meeting she wanted to shoot some in their camo…..I’ll be honest I was a bit worried!  I’m so glad we did though because I love those ones!  Then we met again with her mother this time for some bridals in Fort Smith.  Those were just gorgeous!  What a great find by Amanda!  I didn’t even know about all the homes she showed me in Fort Smith!  And then the big day came and I packed along our Associate photographer, Jon for the day and we captured their day just as it happened!

So let’s share those images!

<p>Yes of course this girl has a camo garter!</p>

<p>Julie Mendenhal at <a href=Jules Design is where it’s at for wedding flowers!  This girl is so sweet!  She even added monograms to each girl’s bouquet!  I love her!
/></a></p>
<p><img class=Cooper Chapel out in Bella Vista, AR
then the top image wouldn’t make much sense, but the chapel is all glass and Amanda didn’t want all the guests to see her before the ceremony os she had her bridesmaids hold up a sheet to block her!  I love it so cute!

<p>Seriously <a href=Shelby Lynn’s Cake Shoppe is awesome too!  These cake’s fit Amanda and Cade’s personalities to a T!!!!

<p>So glad we snuck away just before sunset to capture some LOVELY images for this couple!</p>

<p>All in all it was a great day and everyone really enjoyed themselves!  I don’t think you could ask for anything better!</p>

We are SWAMPED! // Northwest Arkansas Wedding Photographers

Tuesday, August 16th, 2011

Hey everyone!  I have some images uploading right now so I thought I would take a quick second to post some recent work just to keep you updated!  We’ve been crazy busy around here!  I guess it doesn’t help with all the traveling we’ve been doing either!  Right now all the shoots we do are taking about 2 months to get back to our clients.  Typically I like to have a wedding finished within 2 to 3 weeks so that can give you a bit of an idea about how swamped we really are!  We’ve had power outages like mad as well making it a bit challenging to edit…..  but making our family quite happy with lots of time to play!   I want to take a second to thank all our beautiful lovely clients for making this year such a success!  Without you we would be just the opposite….very very slow and not busy!

I have the best clients in the world!  Really I have met some wonderful people this summer and it’s made my photography so much better!  I love my clients!  Thank you!

England Here I Come // Destination Wedding Photographer

Friday, July 22nd, 2011

I can’t believe the day is finally here!  I’m allowed to type that since it is 12:26am!  It’s today, I leave for England today!  In about 10 hours!  I can’t believe it!  I’ve been patiently waiting for this day to arrive!  I am very excited to be visiting England for the first time.  This trip will make two stamps in my passport!  :)  It’s only been one time but I haven’t traveled out of the country in 3 years when my mother and I went to Mexico following my college graduation!  Wow I can’t believe I’ve been out of college for 3 years either!  Time flies!  Not only am I super pumped, nervous, anxious, excited, thrilled, and scared to be visiting England I’m positively just… EXCITED for Tanja and David to FINALLY be getting married!  Its been so much fun to see their love for each other blossom as I’ve known them.   I was there to help David propose and witnessed the cutest engagement in the whole world, on camera!  I’m excited to be doing the same thing again but this time it’s the real deal!

So with all that being said I will be out of the country for a week.  I’ll return calls and emails August 1st, for the quickest response please email.

Thanks!

London and Darron // Little Rock Wedding Photographer

Saturday, June 11th, 2011

London and Darron’s wedding was beautiful as promised! It was a day full of smiles, laughter, loads of beautiful details and a whole lot of dancing. London hired one of our favorite floral designers, Lauren Frost, so we knew her wedding was sure to have lots of fun details and beautiful decor to shoot and we were right. Just take a peek at her bouquet, I could not stop taking pictures of it!!!  When we shot their engagements Darron specifically asked for a shot of their hands so he could draw it, little did I know he was a master artist!!!  This group really knows how to party with the help of MS Soundworks they hit the dance floor and just kept going. LOVE IT!  Congratulations you two we wish you many glorious happy years together!

St. Catherine’s at Bell Gable // Fayetteville Wedding Photographer

Wednesday, June 8th, 2011

I met Amanda, her makeup artist, close friend, mother, and brother at the hotel to snap some getting ready shots.  It was simple and laid back the entire time which would lay the foundation for the remainder of the day.  Amanda looked absolutely stunning!  Her gown was altered to create a custom look that complimented her personality quite well.  We did have a rain threat for the ceremony but it always seems that the big guy upstairs is always looking down on our wedding couples.  After the preparations were ready we headed to the adorable Bell Gable Chapel located in Fayetteville, Arkansas where Amanda and Steven saw each other for the first time.  The first look always makes for the best first sight pictures!  I just love that one of Steven’s first sight of Amanda!  Too sweet!  The two walked hand in hand down the aisle past a select group of close family and friends.  Unfortunately Steven’s parents were unable to attend due to health issues but that didn’t stop them from enjoying the ceremony from Little Rock, as Amanda’s brother set up a streaming video that played during the ceremony.  He played a big roll for them that day by sealing them together as husband and wife.  Amanda and Steven both wrote their own vows, it was so intimate that she got a little choked up and they turned together to read her vows to him.  I’m pretty sure there wasn’t a dry eye in the crowd, and I’ll bet in Little Rock too!  Amanda and Steven are such great people and in the short time that I’ve got to know them I can tell they are meant for each other.
