Fayetteville Engagements // Grace and Brady

January 25th, 2012

Here’s part two of their engagements!  We changed outfits halfway through the session, well they did I remained in my original attire!  Since they met in the Razorback Marching Band I think their red outfits are quite fitting for the finishing touches on their engagements!  I just love when there’s a bit of a personal aspect to your photos!  I’ll admit we have a bit of Hog Fever ourselves and wore Razorback t-shirts in our maternity photos, so glad we did because now those images grace the walls of Titan’s Razorback room!!!!

Enjoy!

U of A Campus Engagements // Grace and Brady

January 24th, 2012

I met up with Grace and Brady yesterday on the University of Arkansas campus yesterday for some chilly windy engagements.  We are already booked for their September wedding in Texas but we shot their engagements with them anyways!!!!  We had a lot of fun battling the wind, walking all over campus, making memories and chatting with them!  The two met while both being in the Razorback Marching Band.  Grace is working on her Masters for business and Brady graduated from the U of A with an Electrical Engineering degree.  They plan on getting married in Texas, where she’s from, and heading back home (here!!!!)  :) after all the celebrations.

Congratulations you two!  We wish you many many happy years together!  Here’s part 1 of their engagements!

Chelsey’s Pratt Place Bridal Portraits

January 19th, 2012

We, Chelsey’s parents, Chelsey, and I, shot her bridal portraits just days before her and Caleb were wed on January 7th at Pratt Place Inn.  It was a beautiful day outside!  We had a wonderful time roaming all around the venue and taking beautiful photos!  As we went outside we were even greeted by some furry friends!  I guess they just had to come check out Chelsey’s bouquet, I wonder if they’ve ever eaten a bride’s flowers before?!?!!?!  Wouldn’t that be a hoot!  On to some gorgeous bridals!  Isn’t she just stunning!  Check her out!  Congratulations Chelsey!

Enjoy!

Chelsey and Caleb were married last weekend, January 7th, at Pratt Place Barn!  It was a bit chilly outside but none the less a beautiful day, especially to get married at the barn!  Chelsey and Caleb are so cute together and just compliment each other perfectly!  We’ve put together this SNEAK PEEK wedding video for you to see just how much fun they had!  Congratulations you two!  I hope you have fun on your Honeymoon!

Jordan // Fayetteville Bridal Portraits

January 6th, 2012

Jordan and I went out with her darling friend Chelsea all around Fayetteville for her bridal portraits just days before her wedding.  It was quite cold and a bit windy but we made it though and got some pretty great images to prove it!  Jordan is such a sweetheart!  She is completely full of life and one of those people you are just begging at her feet to be friends with!  She’s a creative spirit who loves photography and painting. Her heart is huge!  She loves animals and has a few rescued pups from shelters.  Her career is all about serving those who need comfort and care as an ICU nurse.  Really…..I’m pretty sure there isn’t anything this girl can’t do!  And I forgot to mention she’s completely gorgeous…….the boy Jordan sure got lucky!

I have seen this ivy covered building a million times and always thought it would make a perfect backdrop someday…..today was finally that day!!!!  So so so glad we used it!  I love how it turned out!

Gorgeous!

Ok I’m not going to fib but the first time Jordan whipped these shoes out I seriously thought it was a bit of a joke.  Cute as they are, I thought these boots were similar to the tradition of making a bouquet out of  all the bows from your shower gifts and using it at the rehearsal dinner, but for a bridal session!  Nope Jordan was very serious about her darling shoes and even wore them during the reception! That’s why she’s so cool!

I just love these black and white images of her!  I think this one on the left is my favorite from the entire shoot!

Enjoy!

Slowly but Surely…..

November 10th, 2011

Originally I just planned on posting a quick image up on Facebook of a quick edit I did on a recent engagement shoot and call it a day for my social media efforts.  Just then I changed my mind and decided to give all my lovely clients an update.

I just finished up editing Kara and Nathan’s wedding images and they are currently loading into their online gallery (that will take about 6 hours to complete).  YAY!!!!

Followed by:

Crystal and Greg

Ivory and Matt

Liz and Jacky

Audra and Jeff

Jordan and Jordan

Sean and Jessica

My goal is to work on one wedding a week and hopefully knock them all out a few weeks before Christmas.

Now if you are wondering where you fit in with your sessions please don’t be alarmed my goal is to have every family session finished up by the end of November to give you plenty of time for ordering gifts for family!

Now I’ll leave you with that lovely image I planned on posting to Facebook today!  :)

Enjoy!

Yay!!!!  I just love The Wedding Post!   If you haven’t checked them out be sure to hit up their website and browse around for a bit!  Lots and lots of loveliness!  Also be sure to like them on Facebook!  I was so excited to wake up and read this email:

“ERIKA!!! You have completely out done yourself with these photos and I could not wait any longer to show the world.  You are TODAY’s post so please help us spread the word!  Also, I noticed that Jordan and Jordan were just married. . . would you be so kind to send over their wedding photos for a follow up post as soon as you have those edited?  That’d be fabulous!”
Thank you SO much,
Anne-Claire
Seriously after you read her post it will make you want to call her up and enjoy a cup of coffee with her (well not me because honestly coffee isn’t my thing, but I do love those Blackberry sodas at Starbucks!).
Be sure to check out Jordan and Jordan on The Wedding Post today!!!!!
Thanks!
